28 January 2015 > 20 February 2015 Kindly invited to the opening of 236743 exhibition by Andrej Škufca, on Wednesday, 28th January, at 8pm, at the Alkatraz Gallery, ACC Metelkova.

The exhibited work of Andrej Škufca uses video as a medium to explore and deconstruct conventions of moving image and associated problems of identity.

Presentation of the artist's project will take place a little differently than we are used to: the video will be presented in the gallery at the opening, but the accompanying text will be written during the exhibition, as a result of the gradual learning about the work, our observations, comments and impressions.

Thursday, 5th February, 6 pm, The discussion on the exhibition.
Discussion will take place within a circle of participants in an informal way.

Thursday, 12th February, 6 pm, Lecture by Andrej Škufca: Introduction to reflection on the inflation of the signifier.
The lecture will attempt to outline some thoughts the artist has developed while working on 236743.
